Serves:4
Cabbage Thinly Sliced : 1/4 kg.
Carrots : 2
Onions Chopped : 1/2 cup
Green Chilies : 3 or 4
Salt : To taste
For Seasoning
Mustard Seeds : a few
Curry Leaves : a few
Olive Oil : 2 tbsp
Shallots Thinly Sliced : 3
Red Chilies : 3
Preparation:
- Thinly slice cabbage and shred the carrots. In a heated pan, add oil, splutter mustard seeds, shallots, curry leaves and red dry chilies and brown them.
- Now add the onions and green chilies and sauté for couple of minutes. Stir in cabbage and carrot. Add salt. Cook uncovered on low heat for a few minutes. Serve with rice.
Tips:
Add grated coconut to this to make it a delicious thoran curry.
